NBTA Branch 1542

NBTA BRANCH 1542 will present one $500 scholarship annually to a graduating high school student.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be a relative of a regular member (school-based contract teacher) of NBTA Branch 1542.
Preference given to applicants in the following order:

Sons or daughters of member
Niece / Nephew or grandchild of member
Other family relations

Selection Criteria:
Based on a combination of the following:

Academic performance
Contribution to school and community
Extracurricular activities

Application Requirements

A transcript of high school marks.
A current resume including; work history, awards and achievements, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.
Proof of acceptance at a post-secondary institution. (Acceptance letter)
