1-3 scholarships of $500 each, depending upon the finances of that particular year, will be awarded to a Bathurst High School student. Candidates must be graduates of Bathurst High who are registered or who intend to register in a post-secondary program.

Proof of university or community college acceptance must be provided before any monies will be issued.
All applicants will be required to:

1. Submit completed application form. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
   
   
2. Enclose a copy of their high school transcript of marks.  Candidates currently enrolled in a post-secondary program will also be required to enclose their post-secondary transcript.
   
   
3. Provide a list of school and community activities in which the candidate has participated as well as a short note on future plans.
   
   
4. Email two written character references, one of which must be from a teacher at Bathurst High School to [email protected]​
   ​

The candidates chosen will receive the scholarship monies in August provided that the student is registered at the post-secondary institution.  Should the student cease to attend, he/she will be requested to refund the money received.
