The Bathurst Chapter of the NBSCA offers the following bursary of $300.00 to a student who intends to pursue his or her studies at university, community college or any other approved institution of learning.

The final decision of the bursary recipient will be made by the Executive of the NBSCA, upon recommendation from the schools.
The condition and regulations governing this award are listed below.
- Student must be a graduate of Bathurst High School or Ecole Secondaire Nepisiguit for the current year of application and
- Has a parent, grandparent or legal guardian who is a current member of the Bathurst Chapter of the New Brunswick Scottish Cultural Association (Identify member – new members are welcomed at any time.)
- Demonstrates leadership qualities, an interest in their Scottish heritage, kindness and compassion for fellow students and participates in school and community activities
- Financial Need
