The Learning Disabilities Association of New Brunswick is pleased to announce that we are offering a $1,000 scholarship award. The scholarship recognizes a grade 12 New Brunswick student who has a documented Learning Disability and who will be attending a postsecondary institution during the 2022-2023 academic year.
To be considered for the scholarship the applicant must meet the following application requirements.
• Have been diagnosed with a learning disability. The definition of what a learning disability is can be found at: https://bit.ly/3GFR789
Students need to include the following with their application
• a letter from the ESS team at the school or the diagnostic statement from a psychoeducational assessment.
• Be a resident of New Brunswick.
• Submit application by the indicated deadline.
• Submit a 500-to-800-word essay on the topic of how having a learning disability(ies) has affected their life. Other
